Orewa College win Stage Challenge

Last Thursday, Orewa College won Stage Challenge in the Aotea Centre in Auckland.

Stage Challenge is an enormous dance, drama and music spectacular where schools compete against each other by producing 8 minute long performances.  This is the third time the school have placed in the competition in three years, coming first in 2013, second in 2014 and first again in 2015.  Orewa College’s team was 138 strong, including performers, backstage and props students, and a hair and make up team of members of the school’s community.  

Enormous thanks go to Cheryl Schofield from Navarjo Hair Design who have supported the school tirelessly in our Stage Challenge campaigns for 10 years.  This year's theme was LOVE and told the story of a young school boy Jimmy and his crush Tammy.
